Aims & Scope

The Journal of East Asian Trade (JEAT) aims to be a resource for the advancement of the theoretical foundations and the practical applications in the context of trade issues pertaining to East Asian Countries (China, Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Russia) including the Philippines. The journal takes a broad perspective of the global trade by covering many vibrant sectors such as manufacturing, retailing, international trade, agricultural economy, tourism, and information technology, just to name a few. The journal will publish research papers, reports, and commentaries of significant interest to the community engaged in global trade. By being a conduit for sharing intellectual ideas and opinions among the academia and individual global industry sectors, the journal aims to bridge the gap between research and sound decision-making.
